Below is a message from The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA)
On October 12, 2010, the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) successfully launched our redesigned .CA domain name registration system, the system that enables Registrars to communicate with the .CA registry database.
The migration to the new system was conducted successfully and the moratorium on transactions has ended. Transactions relating to your .CA domain name can now be conducted normally through our updated and simplified registry.
This new system and the related policies effectively remove CIRA from many day-to-day transactions. Your CIRA-certified Registrar in now your first point of contact for all inquiries regarding your domain name.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact CIRA’s Registry Services at 1-877-860-1411.
Thank you
